Criteria
for membership in the National Guild of Professional
Consultants (NGPC)
Membership in the
Guild is open for all Professional management consultants
meeting qualifying requirements. Professional consultant is a
legal or physical person who earns by providing consulting
services. Affiliation to members of the Guild is accomplished
in two steps: the Board of the Guild recommends the applicant,
subsequently (no earlier than after 6 months) the General
meeting of members approves the decision of the Board. The
Rules of the Guild stipulates the actual membership.
Principles of joining the Guild
Professional consultant wishing to join the Guild must
formally provide consulting services. Professional consultant
must prove that his/her membership in NGPC will raise the
prestige of the Guild owing to:
Professional consultant has gained good reputation on
the consulting market and can provide services of a choice quality;
Professional consultant has executed significant
consulting projects for exclusive clients;
Staffers of the Professional consultant (in case of a firm)
are experiences professionals.
To join the Guild Professional consultant must be
recommended by no less than 2 members of the Board.
By joining the Guild Professional consultant promised to
actively participate in activities of Guild supporting Its
development.
Principles of the
Professional consultant
For membership in NGPC Professional consultant is considered
to provide consulting services if he/she is:
self-sufficient - for no less than 3
years the individual carried out more than 60% of annual
work for those clients that were not from his own company,
from the group of companies or from the governing body;
financially independent - fee earnings
of consultants (from a firm) is provided by external sources
(not associated with the firm);
impartial - the individual acts without recommendation
and control from the clients' organization (that is not a
consulting structure) during his/her professional advices,
selection, estimation and trainings of the clients' staff.
